Sling Photos is developed and published by Ohh Wow Labs, a sole trader business registered in Australia (ABN 32 567 396 205). References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Ohh Wow Labs.

This privacy policy applies to the Sling Photos iOS application, the Sling Photos Reveal iOS application, and the slingphotos.com website.

Sling Photos Reveal is a free iOS app that reads your photo library metadata to calculate storage usage by year. The app accesses photo creation dates, file sizes, GPS coordinates, and media durations entirely on your device.

No data is collected, transmitted, stored externally, or shared with any third party. No account is required. The app makes no network requests except to display a map tile for your most photographed location using Apple Maps — which does not transmit your photo data.

Deleting the app removes all associated data from your device. There is nothing stored on Ohh Wow Labs servers because no data is ever sent there.

Data Not Collected. This is the correct and accurate App Store privacy nutrition label for this app.

The honest answer is: almost none. Sling Photos was designed from the ground up so that we would never need to see your photos, your face data, or information about how you use the app.

The only personal information we may hold is an email address, if you choose to provide one during onboarding to receive trial reminders and setup tips. This is entirely optional. If you provide an email address:

• It is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device
• It is transmitted to our email platform (Loops.so) solely to send you the reminders and tips you requested
• It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising
• You can delete it at any time from Settings within the app

If you do not provide an email address, we hold no personal information about you whatsoever.

Sling Photos accesses your iPhone photo library to transfer photos to your chosen drive. Your photos never leave your home network and are never sent to our servers or any third-party server.

Face recognition is performed entirely on your iPhone using Apple's Vision framework and your device's Neural Engine. No images, face embeddings, or biometric data are transmitted anywhere. The face recognition models run locally and the results stay on your device.

We never see your photos. We have no ability to access them. This is not a policy choice — it is a technical architecture choice we made deliberately.

When you connect a NAS or network drive, you provide credentials such as a username and password. These credentials are stored exclusively in the iOS Keychain on your device using Apple's secure enclave encryption. They are never transmitted to us or any third party, and they are never stored in plain text or in unencrypted storage.

When you delete the app, the iOS Keychain entries are removed and the credentials are gone.

Sling Photos contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services, no advertising networks, and no third-party tracking of any kind.

We do not use Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Sentry, Facebook SDK, or any equivalent service. We do not know how many times you have opened the app, which features you use, or how long you spend in any screen.

Apple may collect limited, anonymised diagnostics data through the standard iOS system if you have opted into sharing with Apple developers. This is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and is outside our control. We receive aggregated, anonymised crash reports through Xcode Organiser if you have opted in — these contain no personally identifiable information.

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. All payment data is handled by Apple under their privacy policy.

We receive only a confirmation from Apple that a purchase was made, along with an anonymised transaction identifier. No personal or financial information is transmitted to us.

The slingphotos.com website is a static informational site. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not operate any login system on this website.

Our web hosting provider may collect standard server logs including IP addresses and page requests. These are used solely for service operation and are not used to identify individual visitors.

We use Google Fonts to load typefaces on this website. This involves a request to Google's servers when you load the page. Google's privacy policy governs that request. If you prefer, you can block Google Fonts requests using a browser extension without any loss of functionality.

Sling Photos is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app's age rating on the App Store is 4+ because it contains no objectionable content, not because it is designed for children. The core users of this app are adults managing their own photo libraries.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Because we collect almost no personal data, there is very little to exercise rights over. However:

• You can delete your email address at any time from Settings within the app
• You can request deletion of any data we hold about you by contacting us at the address below
• If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR including access, correction, deletion, and portability of your personal data
• If you are in Australia, you have rights under the Privacy Act 1988
• If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. We will respond within 30 days.

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the app or by email. We will never make changes that reduce your privacy rights without clear notice.
